The purpose of "Concert Band Music for Small School Bands, Vol. 6," is to provide band directors with affordable music for their students to play.

Some of the compositions were written for my middle school beginning band students as an instructional aide to assist them as they were learning their first notes, as well as eighth note rhythms in their band method book.

All of the compositions were written for my band students with the purpose of providing them with songs to play at concerts and various programs.

It is my hope all of the compositions will provide students with songs that they will enjoy learning to play, and provide other music educators with a teaching tool that can be used to motivate and encourage their students.

All of the songs are dedicated to all of the student's I had the privilege of teaching.
